I want to make a journal and post why people of this club like NaruSaku. Give examples, links of manga pages, quotes and so on. Anything you want to say. :3

You can add why you do not like a pairing as long as it is respectful.
Example:
:bulletgreen:Right way to say it: "I don't like SasuSaku because Sasuke has tried to kill Sakura three times. :[ That isn't love."
:bulletred: wrong way to say it: "I DON'T LIKE SASUSAKU BECAUSE IT IS A STUPID PAIRING!"

"When my clasemate told me about the series "Naruto",I thought it was a stupid and boring... The first episode I saw was one of the Chuunin exam arcs I think. And there we go !
I saw a cute, nice, shy girl, who is also badass and is a part of a honorable clan.Yes it was Hinata ! At that times,I watched only the anime, and everything Hinata did was great and Sakura was totally useless in herself.I wanted Hinata's love for Naruto to be reciprocated, so I made a tons of excuse about every Narusaku moment in shippuuden, saying that NS is just bro/sis relationship...OMG,I was such a rabid NH-H fan I can't believe it.
But then I started to read the manga instead of watching the anime. And all that NH things and Sakura hatred does'nt made any sense to me.
I realised that Naruto's love for Sakura it's still alive and is going to be ven deeper.
In Sakura's case, she was just one of those Sasuke fangirls,I can't blame her. Many anti NS says that Sakura started to like Naruto 'cause Sasuke left.Well, that's half true.Sasuke was like a fag to Sakura.Right after Sasuke left them,Sakura started to realize that Naruto really understand her and was there for her all time.
I like Narusaku, because the most important that has mutual development. They experienced so much together... happiness, sadness ... positive and negative feelings.
Naruto and Sakura complement each other.I loved that Sakura keep her calmness and tried everything to do what she could. And she also does'nt forgot about Naruto. In my eyes Sakkura was the heroine in Pein arc.Naruto needs a woman who is strong minded and can take his place in trouble.
I could tell more reason, but they were already sayed... "

:icondbz8901: says:
Before I enjoyed NaruSaku I used to enjoy NaruHina, it kinda reminded me of how me and my girlfriend hooked up. She was shy, , nervous, blushed around me alot, ( I still remind her.) But the main fact is that she would risk her life for me just like Hinata would for Naruto. However I realized that her love for me was like Naruto's love for Sakura she would encourage me, try to show me that she was there ,support me. She made me realize that NaruHina would probably not happen when she said to me " I'm trying to get you like me like Naruto would for Sakura."
Now I'm ok if NaruHina happens at the end but we're hopeing for NaruSaku."

"I'm not a fan of pairings but even I see this happening. My Reason? On a character design point, yes they complement each other. Naruto is powerful but a dunce in most cases but hes smart enough to know the important things. Sakura is the exact opposite, she is smart and knows the way around current situations (when she understands the reasons) and powerful in her own sense physically. They each address these shortcomings because not only as friends but even from the day team 7 formed.

Naruto is a physical character who progresses to meet his goals by growing stronger and getting more power. Sakura is a mental character who develops different outlooks and tries to better herself and aid naruto in his goals as the situation of the story changes. Naruto merely becomes stronger to overcome everything but Sakura is dynamic. She goes from something of a brat at naruto to a tolerant teammate to a close and caring friend. She realizes her views of Naruto as annoying were wrong, she felt like a burden so she resolved to train harder and eventually with tusenade so she could help naruto. She suffered the same when Sasuke left with no intention to return and reminded Naruto he was not alone. She became protective and worried after learning about the fox, akaskuti, and seeing the 4 tails. Finally the confession which all haters label her as useless even as far as she should be removed from the manga, those people can't get past episode 20 apparently. Sakura wanted to make up for the burden she unexpectedly put on naruto and did not want him to suffer nor depend on him for everything. Though her plan could have gone better she wanted to end his mental suffering even if it would make him hate her. Sakura could not go through killing Sasuke because its not easy for a friend to end a former friend. Sakura is human and its not easy to follow a difficult goal. Though Naruto did not like the lie, he still loves Sakura and Sakura manged to succeed indirectly. Naruto was pursuing Sasuke for his own reasons and not just the promise but as kakashi said it was like a burden was removed, Naruto is seeking Sasuke majorly for his own reasons over the promise but now he does not need to be fully concerned with it and he is not alone in bringing Sasuke back. Sakura only wanted to make amends and this is one of her best moments, she is supporting Naruto by not having to let him worry anymore.

Basically Naruto pushes Sakura to her goals with his physical development and willpower. Sakura pushes Naruto to his goals by friendship and her own self improvement."

"I like NaruSaku because is one of the most realistic and well-builded pairings I have seen in all the media I know. Their mutual development, support, trust and little but significant gestures made me fell in love with this couple. They also complement each other in everyway: Naruto is Sakura's "Earth" while Sakura is Naruto's "Heaven", not to mention that Naruto's devotion to Sakura is admirable, as well Sakura's change of view towards him: she started from despising him to genuinely care for him and trust in him completely, not to mention she has confused feelings for him. Also, there's the fact that Sakura and Kushina are so much alike that it's pretty obvious that Kushina's quote was hinting narusaku. I've always been a NaruSaku fan from the very beginning. i think those 2 are meant to be together. Not to mention if Naruto does get Sakura, it means that he can succeed in anything he does in life and that his will to never give up will never die."

:iconashurii-yaoifangurl: says:
"To start, several years I would have never loved Sakura or NaruSaku like I do now. Sakura didn't click for her and I became a SasuNaru fangirl. I still am now but Naruto and Sakura is one of my top beloved pairings.

I like NaruSaku because it fits. Naruto started liking Sakura for her flaws. He saw her beauty when she couldn't see it in herself. As for Sakura, even though whether or not she's really over Sasuke and really loves Naruto is still up and in the air, you can definitely see -even from the beginning- that there were some feelings for Naruto that were hidden under her Sasuke fangirl ways. It's a pairing that doesn't need a filler to promote it and they complete each other. Remember Earth and Heaven. Without using the comparisons of them against Minato and Kushina or Jiraiya and Tsuande, Naruto and Sakura compliment each other very well. Naruto backs up Sakura and cheers her as they fight along each other. He doesn't consider her a burden and they can actually communicate. Sakura keeps Naruto from doing stupid things and heals him when he's hurt. Not to mention, she doesn't try to change him. maybe make him less perverted at times but not ever try to change each other. Basically, even with the hitting, which actually work for people who are ninjas, they are a couple that can work without forcing the other person to change.

If fact, to be cliche, it's like a romance comedy where the girl discover her worth as the unlikely guy or male friend helps her see her own beauty when everyone else told her she didn't have it.

My only hate for the pairing was due to my dislike of Sakura pre skip. As in Shippuden, she has grown phonemically. She's my girl now."

Anyway, it's such a beautiful relationship that had everything what I wanted in a pairing and that I don't find in neither NaruHina or SasuSaku."

:iconladyxxhysteria: says:
"I fell in love with this pairing about a year ago when I got back into Naruto. And both Naruto and Sakura have a certain chemistry that grows throughout Shippuden. With Sakura finally caring about him and knowing how devoted he is towards her and her happiness. So overall, I just believe that they fit together like two pieces of the puzzle that has yet to be completed.~"

:iconbrodandconfusd: says:
"Because Naruto likes Sakura, and Naruto deserves to get what he wants"

:iconkarkies: says:
"Cause they fit together like birds of a feather."

:icontoastywarrior: says:
"I like NaruSaku because after being a SasuSaku and NaruHina fan in the earlier parts of the manga, and anime I realized just how much they wouldn't work. They're the complete polar opposites of each other, and when I looked into NaruSaku more, I realized just how much they belong together. Let's not forget Naruto's unselfishness to protect Sakura, and his promise of a lifetime to her. Those were the major factors that made me turn into a NaruSaku fan. They belong together because Naruto is Sakura's Earth, and Sakura is Naruto's Heaven, without each other they wouldn't be the same or evolved into the characters they are today."

:iconcloudycaelum: says:
"I love this pairing because of their great dynamic. The fact that they developed together so much and for me, have come very far as a pairing. Its amazing to see how Sakura went from basically not wanting to have anything to do with Naruto, to caring so deeply for him now. (not to mention, Sakura reminds me of Kushina...I'm sure you could figure where I going with this, since Kushina wanted Naruto to find a girl like her.)
I understand that Sakura beats on Naruto a lot, but if it really bothered him, I think he would have taken care of it, he is stronger than her. That and they have so many moments together, so many that I feel like I would be here all night talking about each one!
I mostly like how they pretty much have "satyed together" this whole time and am eagar to see where their relationship goes next!"

:iconwalkingdreamer1: says:
"I like Narusaku because they have really grown together and apart, they are teamates and understand eachother and have a bond that no one not sasuke can break and sure sakura hits Naruto sometimes but thats just because of who she is.......I hit my guy friends all they time, well mostly when there being dumb (which is most of the time) so does that make me a bad person? or that i don't care for my friends? I also like the couple because i belive it just works, I can tell in shippuden Sakura is getting feelings for Naruto and Naruto has said he loves her so..........yea"

:iconwinterxlolita: says:
"About a year ago, I used to be a SasuSaku fan. Somewhere along the way, though, I seem to have converted to NaruSaku. O.O SasuSaku seems to have become a strange pairing in my eyes, if they were were to become a pair it would make me wonder why. Naruto and Sakura have chemistry and it's amazing! People have been predicting Naruto suddenly falling in love with Hinata, but I see that as strange too. :3 In a filler episode, I figured out that Jiraiya loved Tsunade for nearly his entire life, it was soooo sweet. I see Naruto being the same way and I think it only made me love NaruSaku even more. Whereas SasuSaku moments made me smile ear to ear, NaruSaku makes me smile my head off!"

:iconpalmtop-peanut: says:
"hmm, I've liked in since Naruto episode 138 and on >8D it just clicked for me, and when Naruto jumped infront of that huge blade for sakura, I thought " I CAN FEEL THE LOOOVE!" it was filler but it did it for me. Also, how Naruto tried so hard to save Sakura from Gaara  and that cut off sentence from Yamato, geez, theres just so many moments I cant list them all off! I also like this pairing becasue there's so much development between the two y'know. It took time for them to get where they are now. They may not be a pairing yet but hey, they are probably one of the most likely pairings to happen in my eyes. And one last thing, I ADORE Tsunderes XD Sakura is sooo a Tsundere."

:iconpepperlicious: says:
"I actually prefer SasuSaku but NaruSaku is also one of my OTPs mainly because Naruto is just too noble because he KNOWS that Sakura loves Sasuke and he doesn't mind, but he doesn't deserve the pain of the heartbreak he would suffer if Sasuke and Sakura got together.
So, in my opinion, it's an almost tie between SasuSaku and NaruSaku. Like, SasuSaku is just 0.01% ahead of NaruSaku."

:iconcitruscitrine: says:
"I loved NaruSaku around the very beginning of the Naruto, when it began to air on Cartoon Network. The third episode just so happened to be the first episode I've seen, so that's pretty much how that went down. And from that point on... the way Naruto treated Sakura... all that he's done for her was the most romantic thing I've even seen in an anime.

Later, NaruSaku became my most favorite pairing when Shippuden came out. Everyone pretty much explained that one, so there isn't a reason for a repeat."

:iconkayyem: says:
"Simple. It's because it's how all couples should be.
1. They met
2. Got to know each other
3. Experienced a lot together
4. Slowly forged a strong friendship
5. Share a bond so strong, it's almost like they're blood related (or more than that  )

Naruto loves Sakura. He kept on loving her even if he knew she loved Sasuke, and even with that knowledge, he still promised her he'd bring Sasuke back, and he meant it, word for word. Simply put, his love for Sakura is unconditional, selfless, true. Same for Sakura. She risked her life lots of times for him, even lied for his sake (the confession) even if she knew that he was the only one that actually had a chance to bring Sasuke back, she still told him not to. Sakura, the selfish, self-centered little brat gradually turned into someone who is willing to get hurt for someone's sake, and going as far as putting Naruto's safety at the very top of her list of goals.

Their relationship is fairly simple compared to NaruHina. There are no blushy moments. They don't stutter around each other. There aren't any romantic quotes either (like "His smile saved me! So I'm willing to die for him") but the bond they share is just....wow. It's well developed, and SO natural. This pairing doesn't need romantic lines or moments. Even the simplest things they say to each other conveys their strong bond."

:iconkaeta8: says:
"Okay, first of all. Before I start telling why I like this pairing I need to say- I hated NARUTO - I never read Manga, but it was always on TV when I got home from school. There were bunch of anime series. And NARUTO was the one I hated the most. I thought it was annoying and weird though I watched because there wasn't anything else to do. I really didn't give a damn of pairings but then Shipuuden started. Naruto wasn't that loud, Sakura wasn't that fangirlish and Sasuke was as always cool XD I thought hey, lets watch it. I totally, started to like NaruSaku. Then I found out that there are things like Mangas. I started to reread part one and caught up with part two. After that I found my OTP. I didn't knew that there were things like NaruSaku or NaruHina or things like dA or Forums bout Naruto. I never even thought that NaruHina is really taken serious as a pairing. I just thought there was NaruSaku / SasuSaku and ShikaTema.

Anyway I like it because of it's developement-which still are things to come.
Naruto's love for her.
The best friend who could be the one.
She's herself.
They fight like a married couple, behave like one.
They know each other so good.
The hints in the manga.
Successful relationships take hard work and two people who really want to be together.

''Someone who really loves you sees what a mess you can be, how moody you can get, how hard you are to handle, but still wants you in their life.''

Ah, well I just love them! I'll better not contiue or it'll be too long."

:iconasuka-yuki: says:
"I love NaruSaku because they fit better with each other. They have a great dynamic together *-* this is so amazing. And the two have been through a lot more together than others. You can say whatever you want, Naruto loves Sakura, and will always love her. And Sakura? She begins to develop feelings for Naruto. It is so. You can see it. NaruSaku is more realistic. I believe in this couple."

:iconnarutoo17: says:
"I love narusaku because they are the most pure love in naruto....
Naruto do everything for her, he is amazing, and the other couples like naruhina and sasusaku dont make sense, i think in the begining sasusaku was possible because sakura really liked sasuke, but now?no sasuke dont like sakura, sasuke like more naruto than sakura XDDD hahah
but naruto really deserves sakura and do you remember?
i dont came back in my words! (or something like this)
Naruto tell one time: i love one girl named sakura, i will do everything to sakura see me !   he never will give up..... is just love amazing"

:iconmydearbeloved: says:
"There are many reasons why I like NaruSaku. Naruto's devotion and selfless love of Sakura is so rare and beautiful, and you can see that Sakura is slowly reciprocating those feelings. Even from Part I, it's apparent that she truly admires him and holds him in high regard. They both care so much about each other, and can truly understand one another. They're the people who know the most about each other, and they can trust each other. Throughout the story, their relationship has developed and it is probably the relationship that has the most "show-not-tell" element in the series, and even in most media. It has built-up since chapter three, and has only gotten stronger. The two have such chemistry; they can be themselves around each other and enjoy each other's presence, even when everything around them is so full of angst and falling apart. Sakura and Naruto have so much in common, and yet, in the areas that they differ, they complement each other; hence the concept of "Heaven and Earth": she is his heaven, and he is her earth. Out of everything else, they have remained the one constant in each other's lives, being able to count on one other and fight together. Even after being apart for two and a half years, they are still able to talk and behave and interact normally, like old friends. Because of Naruto, Sakura changed for the better; likewise with Naruto. They have grown together and because of each other, encouraging one another as they go. They just go so well with each other, and they have something that NaruHina, SasuSaku, and most other pairings don't have: mutuality. They are a steady, slow, true love, and I can't imagine any other couple that has the same passion and impact that they do."

:iconkunoichi-me: says:
"There are so many reasons why I love the pairing, but the most prominent one would have to be how Naruto always puts Sakura before himself. He was willing to live in pain of unrequited love from Sakura loving Sasuke, rather than live with seeing Sakura in pain. Later on, we even see Sakura putting Narutos feelings before herself -'I'll save Sasuke for you!' while she tries to calm his 4 tails form, she endangers herself to try and help him. She always thinks about how to help Naruto, and was willing to kill Sasuke to save Naruto. She cries so much, out of worry for Naruto. There are also the many parallels with Minato and Kushina and Tsunade and Jiraiya that I just adore. Kushina even said to find a girl like her, and that obviously means Sakura from what we saw of Kushinas past and personality. They have grown together, made each other stronger, and know each other better than any other character. They are also hilarious to watch when they're together, like an old married couple"

:iconnarusakurocks: says:
"I love narusaku because naruto and sakura have a special bond, the stongested bond in the whole series, unlike naruhina. Also, it is the most developed relationionship in the series. There have been countless hints that support the pairing, although many baist anti-narusaku fan may try to deny them, or blow them of as something else. The number of narusaku hints outnumber the number of naruhina hints by far. Naruto has loved sakura frome the beginning anyways. Another thing is that it is obvious that sakura has developed very strong feelings for naruto. We can make this assumption because of when yamato stated that the most important thing was sakura's feelings for naruto; granted this does not prove those feelings are romantic, however from my prespective it is insinuated that those are romantic feelings. Also, there is sakura's confession. we know the confession is fake, however we also know that sakura did this because she cares so deeply for him and doesnt want him to be hurt, and she wants to remove the burden she feels she has placed upon naruto. also i believe sakura has romantic feelings for naruto, however she is confused by them and doesnt feel she deserves naruto, or maybe she is simply in denial. A few other reasons would be: they have simular personalities, naruto is sakura's hero(because he has saved her countless times, they are best friends and relationships are more likley to work when developed of the basis of frendship(i know this from personal experience), sakura is clearly like kushina, and also naruto is a representation of jiraya and he shall succeed were jiraya failed[save his friend(orochimaru=sasuke, bring peace to the ninja world, and get the girl(tsunade=sakura)]. Lastly, they are just adorable and I've been a narusaku fan from episode one soo... (: wow that was long... heheh"

:iconwolff2695: says:
"Well I like it because I think like the other say it shows a realistic relationship. The example i see is like most of the time girls never like their guy friends and they always fall for the guy who will hurt them (no offense to Sasuke i actually like the guy). well another reason i liek it is how no matter what Sakura has said about Naruto he still defends her and I'm guessing she realizing this in shippuden....."

:iconwwwfwwfwcwecw: says:
"I'd like NaruSaku cause Naruto is kinda like me and he'd kinda have the same tease in women when it comes to their eyes and hair.  lol I'd be a loner just like Naruto been but i'd have parents and a younger brother."

:iconhalcyon196: says:
"I used to like NaruHina and dislike NaruSaku intensely until the scene where Naruto saves Sakura from Gaara. In that battle there's a flashback where Sakura asks Naruto if Sasuke said anything about her to which Naruto replies "No, but do you want to hear what I have to say about you?"
For me, I found that part really touching because it showed how Naruto really cared about Sakura and when the timeskip rolled around, you could really see how much Sakura cared about Naruto without even realizing it."

Founder
:iconamandas-sketches: says:
"I use to be a die hard NaruHina fan, mostly because I hated Sakura. She didn't see Naruto for what he was worth. Later in shippuden, I saw that she began to see Naruto more as someone special to her than just "someone annoying who purposefully got in her way of Sasuke." Naruto really didn't want to get in her way so I think from that point on he tried to stay out of her way and support her being with Sasuke. He cares about her that much. Since he has been there for her since the beginning, I think he deserves to get the girl that he loved from the beginning but I also think he deserves equal love. I just hope she ends up returning his feelings at the end. I also don't think Sasuke can fulfill what Sakura wants in a relationship. What she is looking for Naruto holds...I don't think she realizes it yet.

As for NaruHina? I dunno, it kind of feels more "generic" type of relationship, the quiet girl + outgoing guy with no faults.  NaruSaku feels more realistic because they have flaws, they have drama and they have somewhat of a similar personality. Both cry (a lot in the series), both can be very strong when they have to be and both have a "word" Dattebayo and Shanarro."

I like NaruSaku because they are always there for each other. They supported each other.
